Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Team management skills
Proficiency in accounting software
Proficient English – spoken and written (min B2)

Responsibilities

Lead the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions and related activities
Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines with support from P2P GPO
Build & maintain strong relationships with colleagues and internal/external partners
Maintain good relations with suppliers, resolving any discrepancies and ensuring timely payments
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function
Create and keep up-to-date process documentation and SOPs to simplify and automate processes and achieve cooperation among the teams
Hire, train, and mentor accounts payable staff to guarantee a high-performing team
Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and available
Oversee the monthly closing of financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and reports
Oversee and solve deficiencies of the process by discovering, describing, and removing root causes
Along with P2P GPO, create a modern mindset and environment in AP with end goal to support global proactive spend management, working capital improvement, and cash management
Oversee the accounts payable function across multiple regions, including Vendor Master Data team, GRIR & Debit balance analytics teams
Partner with and influence strategic sourcing organization, production plants, and other departments
