2 or 4 year degree in Geographic Information Systems or related field AND at least 1 year’s experience performing GIS analysis or field work OR 4 years work experience in a GIS analysis related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar software suite
Possess a valid driver’s license
Minimum age of 21
Familiar with GIS programs: ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, MapsPlus

Responsibilities

Provide GIS, database, and IT support for Natural Resource Management projects, including data collection, repositories, processing, analytics, metrics, QC, automation, data requests, dashboards, and training on web-based and PG&E platforms
Deliver geospatial and tabular records in web-based and PG&E platforms (e.g., PG&E’s ArcSDE environment) within 1 to 7 business days upon request
Provide QA/QC reports to appropriate teams and programs on a weekly and monthly basis
Provide backups of necessary program data on a daily and weekly basis
Provide web-based dashboards and reporting tools within 1 to 7 business days upon request
Provide geospatial and tabular files, data/map products internally/externally within 1 to 7 business days upon request
Provide urgent ad-hoc data and analytic deliverables within 1 to 7 business days upon request
Provide data processing and analytical models within 1 to 7 business days upon request
Provide ongoing process and procedure development and documentation within 1 to 7 business days upon request
Provide presentation and training materials as requested
Provide programmatic analytics and data pulls from various data sources within and outside of PG&E (e.g., USFS data layers, weather models) within 1 to 7 business days upon request
