Requirements

  • Sonography Certification or equivalent
  • 5 plus years of experience in a patient care setting
  • Highly qualified in clinical applications in the General Imaging Ultrasound environment
  • Extensive experience in medical industry
  • Experience in industry of medical device development and processes
  • Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers)
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer sites, development centers, including international travel
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical input to the General Imaging Ultrasound product management, marketing and engineering teams for product development
  • Provide expertise for clinical marketing and research request for value proposition creation and go to market programs
  • Serve as subject matter expert in clinical care areas as needed
  • Support or organize internal scanning during product development and assist with verification and validation activities
  • Support or organize external evaluations for new product development, assisting in the feedback processes, tracking methods and collect anonymized image data for engineering investigations of performance
  • Support install base escalated customer sites as needed, assisting engineering in issue investigations
  • Provide Clinical expertise for development and dissemination of clinical education collaterals globally
  • Work closely with Product Management to identify strategic portfolio needs
  • Support region teams to develop global clinical and education training, collect anonymized image data for demonstration of product features
  • Deliver clinical, scientific presentations for global customer seminars and training events (in person or using remote tools)
  • Establish and maintain close contacts (formal and informal advisory panels) in the clinical community
  • Keep informed on industry trends and competitive offerings
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
  • Provide clinical input as part of the product extended core team (add clinical input during Defect management and risk mitigation)
  • Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
