Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant operations experience in fund management, fund administration, or supporting relationships with alternative asset managers, wirehouses, or institutional investors (strong preference for private markets and alternative asset classes)
  • Preferred: Background in private equity (e.g., fund management, fund administration, legal services), with experience in secondaries (e.g., GP-led or LP-led transactions, tender offers, stapled secondaries, LP-portfolio sales, Wealth Management)
  • Ability to clearly communicate with clients and proactively identify/respond to their needs
  • Capable of organizing and coordinating large groups of stakeholders to complete projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to analyze processes and workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and collaborate on improvements
  • Motivated to tackle new challenges and proactively work with clients/team for best results
  • Sense of urgency and ability to get answers from clients for task/project completion
  • Ability to adapt quickly and handle stress in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional computer skills (Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and aptitude for learning new systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service for Nasdaq Private Fund Solutions clients and drive client satisfaction with service delivery
  • Provide operational support for fund secondary transactions, including event setup, transaction support, and wire settlement
  • Identify areas of improvement within processes in an organized and productive manner
  • Ensure smooth delivery during liquidity events by maintaining open communication with clients, service providers, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Technology, Legal, Sales, Product, etc.)
  • Coordinate with product team and organizational entities to identify/monitor issues, risks, impacts, and dependencies
  • Coordinate production support activities and participate in troubleshooting implementation issues
  • Cultivate client insights to improve product offering and proactively communicate recurring customer service issues
  • Demonstrate effective time management to handle tight deadlines and multiple client demands
  • Track and resolve inquiries in a timely manner, including follow-up to ensure final resolution
