Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the funds or investment management industry, ideally within a risk management or investment management role
  • Knowledge of investment risk including market risk, liquidity risk and credit risk is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of AIFMD or UCITS regulations
  • Strong quantitative skills with an understanding of computer programming languages such as VBA, SQL or Python
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with Blackrock Aladdin, RiskMetrics or similar risk systems would be beneficial
  • 3rd Level Degree
  • Clarity of analysis and of expression, both written and oral
  • Commitment to on-going professional and personal development
  • Intellectual interest in financial markets
  • Good level of understanding of UCITS and AIFMD structures and the regulatory environment surrounding this product type

Responsibilities

  • Preparing fund-related reports for different risk committees
  • Analysing the key risk indicators of the funds
  • Preparation of regulatory reports such as Annex IV
  • Conducting liquidity stress testing in accordance with each fund’s policy
  • Preparing risk reporting for monthly review by the Risk Committee
  • Responsible for all investment risks relating to the activities of SIGL
