Requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience in management roles in fund operations, with significant exposure to fund accounting, private markets, and hedge funds
  • Strong knowledge of alternative fund structures, fund domiciles, regulatory requirements, and fund fee calculations
  • Proven track record in strategic thinking, operational leadership, and change management
  • Demonstrable relationship building skills both internally and externally and across all levels
  • Ability to execute change and continually challenge accepted norms

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations and department heads to define and execute business strategy
  • Oversee Fund Accounting teams, ensuring efficient, scalable, and controlled processes
  • Continually evaluate and enhance operational models, leveraging technology and best practices
  • Act as lead fund accounting subject matter expert in automation efforts and technology business case development
  • Maintain high client service standards, proactively managing client relationships and addressing emerging risks or opportunities
  • Ensure all operational processes meet regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Support business development, acting as a subject matter expert in client/prospect meetings
  • Drive and lead strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • Identify and develop high-potential talent, ensuring robust succession plans within operational teams
  • Champion SEI Company HR policies and ensure all are applied and maintained
  • Ensure financial goals are achieved
