Position Overview

Xapo Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to support the accounting operations of a BTC-denominated hedge fund. This role is crucial for managing daily and month-end accounting tasks, including NAV processes, loan and expense reconciliations, BTC flow coordination, and investor reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background, exceptional attention to detail, and practical experience with digital asset workflows. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to institutional-grade crypto fund operations and collaborate with leading service providers and counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Manage all intra-month and month-end accounting workflows.
• Address ad hoc accounting requests from the Fund Administrator, Investment Manager, and Xapo.
• Reconcile the monthly loan book and process interest accounting, including intra-month adjustments.
• Oversee Revolver loan reconciliation and associated reporting.
• Initiate and manage expense settlements, liaising with third parties.
• Process all necessary accounting journals to maintain accurate fund records.
• Prepare and finalize monthly interest invoices for counterparties.
• Provide monthly snapshot reports and documentation to the Fund Administrator.
• Finalize fund accounting by the 3rd business day of each month, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Support the final NAV approval process and the distribution of investor statements.
• Manage the wallet whitelisting process in collaboration with Operations and Treasury.
• Coordinate the flow of BTC to/from Counterparties and Investors with Operations and Treasury.

Skills Needed

• Strong accounting foundation.
• Operationally hands-on, with the ability to manage counterparty settlements and treasury coordination.
• Solution-oriented mindset, capable of independently resolving unstructured issues.
