Candidates should possess at least 5 years of relevant software development experience, with 1+ years specifically focused on building billing or metering systems, and full stack coding experience utilizing technologies such as React, TypeScript, Serverless, and Node.js. Proficiency in multiple programming languages is encouraged. Experience with billing concepts, including credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces (AWS MP, GCM, Azure MP), invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record keeping is required.
The Full Stack Software Engineer - Billing will be responsible for building ClickHouse cloud’s billing and metering platform, designing and building mission-critical processes, creating frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, and highly available, and integrating with various external systems such as Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, Support, and others. They will also partner with multi-disciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions, and lead and ship large scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple experienced engineers.
