Responsibilities

Design and build core platform features like rich file attachments, secure file and app connectors using Model Context Protocol, and Spaces for collaboration (Enterprise team)
Build AI-powered features such as personalized prompts, auto-generated study guides, and contextual upsell nudges to drive user activation, retention, and revenue (Growth team)
Own Perplexity’s growth platform, including experimentation framework, feature flagging, and notifications
Develop and maintain secure, scalable user experiences and systems that integrate with payment platforms and autonomously conduct financial transactions (Billing team)
Build AI-powered exploration, browsing, personalization, memory, live data visualization, comparison, and checkout for consumer verticals (Consumer Verticals team)
Develop agentic actions powered by Comet for automated shopping, travel purchases, restaurant reservations, travel itineraries, automated investing, etc
Build 0-1 products that redefine the future of search, AI in search, social media, and personal computing (Special Projects team)
Own projects end-to-end, iterate fast, deliver high-quality experiences, and ship quickly
