Requirements

Candidates should possess 3–5 years of software development experience, ideally within a SaaS or technology company, and an interest in the Trust & Safety domain with some exposure to challenges such as spam detection or account abuse. Familiarity with basic machine learning concepts or data-driven approaches is helpful, and experience working with cloud providers like GCP, AWS, or Azure is desired. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern backend framework like Node.js or Rails, along with the ability to write clean, testable code, is required.

Responsibilities

The Full Stack Engineer, Trust & Safety will design and implement systems to detect and mitigate fraud, abuse, and other threats to platform integrity, develop algorithms and machine learning models to identify malicious behavior, collaborate with Product, Legal, and Security teams to ensure compliance, build monitoring and alerting tools, optimize performance and scalability of Trust & Safety systems, conduct root cause analyses of incidents, and stay informed about new security threats. They will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture.
