High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in a FSQA role preferred or other QA type experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork
Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce
Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
Solid math and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret product specifications
Ability to function well under stress
Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed
Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs. or more)

Responsibilities

Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems to ensure they meet high standards
Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report findings to management
Proactively take corrective actions, including alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products
Work closely with team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards
Be ready to take on additional tasks contributing to overall operations success
