High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other QA type experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
Good problem identification and problem solving skills
Math and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret product specifications
Ability to function well under stress
Flexibility to work where and when needed
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more)

Responsibilities

Perform physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems
Document and calculate results accurately
Take corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product)
Report results to management
Complete any additional assignments requested
Ensure personal safety and food safety
