Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar (Scientist level: previous experience comparable to 2+ years, OR Master's degree; equivalency of education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
  • Experience with various analytical techniques including HPLC/UPLC, Dissolution, and Karl Fischer (KF); experience with GC is a plus
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience in core analytical techniques of HPLC and Dissolution
  • Knowledge of analytical method validation and requirements as defined by ICH
  • Experience in analytical development supporting drug product formulation development
  • Experience with Empower is desirable
  • Experience in performing dissolution testing using biorelevant media for active ingredients and drug formulations (plus)
  • Ability to execute and document scientific experiments and effectively communicate study results
  • Experienced in drafting and delivering analytical studies, with strong ability to follow written procedures and protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge in small molecule pharmaceutical analysis

Responsibilities

  • Support analytical method development and drug product development
  • Conduct analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, Dissolution, Karl Fischer, and GC
  • Perform critical analysis of analytical results to improve robustness of analytical methods and enhance understanding of key drug product quality attributes
  • Review, interpret, and communicate analytical results and conclusions effectively, both orally and in writing
