They should demonstrate excellent knowledge of both English and French-Canadian languages, and have experience utilizing CAT tools such as XTM. A translation degree is preferred, or alternatively, two years of translation experience, or five years of translation experience if no degree is held.
The French Canadian Life Sciences Translator will be responsible for translating and proofreading documents related to investigator-facing, patient-facing, and pharmacy topics, with an expected weekly word volume of 2,000 to 5,000 words. This role involves utilizing CAT tools like XTM, contributing to ongoing translation and proofreading projects for pharmaceutical providers, and potentially participating in machine translation efforts.
