Responsibilities
- Implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy in business processes
- Safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets with forklift
- Identifying priorities, deadlines, expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; recommending improvements
- Receiving, stocking, organizing merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers; merchandising; handling inventory exceptions; correcting shelf capacities; completing/retaining paperwork/logs/documentation
- Providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding on self-service tech, assisting purchases, locating items, resolving issues, promoting products/services
- Maintaining facility safety through sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling/disposal, steel standards, correcting/reporting unsafe situations
- Maintaining sales floor/merchandising presentation: zoning, stocking/rotating, removing damaged/out-of-date goods, setting up/cleaning/organizing displays, modular integrity, receiving/sorting/staging/delivering merchandise, prominent promotional/seasonal displays, processing defective merchandise, sanitation/food safety compliance, monitoring shrink/security/safety
- Filling club pick up orders: assisting picking/staging throughout day, ensuring selection/staging per policy, ensuring timely proper staging by Merchandising Associates, performing accuracy audits
