Requirements

- Conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift spotting and hazardous materials procedures, and reports unsafe situations
- Maintains sales floor and merchandising presentation, including zoning, stocking, rotating, and organizing merchandise
- Assists with club pick up orders, picking, staging, and auditing for accuracy
- Handles, moves, and displays goods safely; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage
- Uses inventory tools and equipment safely
- Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services
- Embraces differences, creates inclusive workplace, and builds team relationships
Responsibilities
- Implement related action plans using the Open Door Policy in business processes
- Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets using forklift
- Identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers
- Correct shelf capacities, complete and retain required paperwork, logs, and documentation
- Acknowledge members, identify needs, provide guidance on self-service technology, assist with purchases, promote products/services
- Maintain facility safety by conducting sweeps, following procedures for hazardous materials and steel standards, correcting/reporting unsafe situations
- Zone area, stock/rotate merchandise, remove damaged/out-of-date goods, set up/clean/organize displays, maintain modular integrity
- Receive, sort, stage, deliver merchandise; ensure prominent display of promotional/seasonal items; process defective merchandise; follow sanitation/food safety policies
- Monitor shrink, security risks, and safety; assist with picking/staging club pick up orders; perform audits
- Report poor inventory practices and low in-stock levels; report poor/unsafe forklift conditions to management
- Maintain forklifts; inform management when not in working order
- Model and help others with technology services; identify and fix shrink opportunities/problems; maintain equipment and stock products correctly
