Requirements

Candidates must possess very good knowledge of Python and SQL, with experience in Snowflake being highly desirable. Familiarity with BI tools such as Superset, Tableau, or PowerBI is preferred, and knowledge of orchestration tools like Airflow, DBT, or Google Cloud Dataflow is a bonus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, deep curiosity for fraud detection, and excellent attention to detail are essential. A track record of building external and executive reports and presentations, along with an interest or experience in consulting within the risk, fraud, or payments industry, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Fraud Data Analyst will conduct in-depth reviews of complex fraud cases, identify trends, document findings, and recommend risk mitigation strategies. They will leverage SQL and Python to improve fraud capture and reduce false positives by analyzing customer data and tuning policies. Responsibilities also include producing executive-level reports, writing rules into the ThreatMetrix® decision engine, and building dashboards to track delivered value. The role involves delivering presentations for external and executive audiences, scoping and delivering customer-focused projects, and collaborating with internal teams and external business leaders. A professional and customer-centric approach is expected when interacting with clients.
