Requirements

  • Preferred GED or equivalent
  • Preferred proficiency in reading and writing English
  • Preferred knowledge of lumber and engineered wood products, wood framing anchors, and connections and how they are assembled and used in hand frame and panelized buildings

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with carpentry foremen daily
  • Comply with and enforce all company policies
  • Attend the training sessions for your position offered by the company
  • Maintain a positive company image with appropriate language, dress, and behavior
  • Fabrication and installation of basic components required in commercial carpentry framing
  • Keep the job site organized and clean
  • Provide your own hand tools and belt
  • Maintain and use your Personal Protective Equipment at all times
  • Participate in maintaining a safe job site
  • Performs other duties as required
