A minimum of 5 years experience in fragrance or flavor compounding is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate extreme attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials. Basic knowledge of lab equipment and production machinery is also required.
The Fragrance or Flavor Compounder will accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets. They will distinguish raw material characteristics and report any discrepancies or abnormalities. The role involves operating and cleaning mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following standard operating procedures. Additionally, they will assist in monitoring raw material stock levels and collaborate closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in the fragrance compounding process.
