Minimum qualifications include a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 1+ year of experience or a Master’s Degree, plus 3+ years of C/C++ programming experience in a Linux/Unix environment. Preferred skills include experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL, developing EDA/CAD optimization algorithms for FPGAs or ASICs, and data structures/algorithms with a focus on graph theory.
Ideal candidates exhibit excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, attention to detail, great communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, and are flexible, organized, and proactive.
Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. Canadian work experience is not required.
