Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (CFA or CPA) preferred
  • 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar industry or commercial finance role
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of business operations and impact of financial decisions
  • Advanced skills in financial modelling and experience with financial software/systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting information and responding to stakeholders
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team. Leadership experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans; collaborate with business units to gather inputs and validate assumptions
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast; prepare monthly/quarterly management reports with insights and variance explanations
  • Support regional leadership with ad hoc analysis, scenario modelling, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align FP&A activities with business objectives; maintain clear communication
  • Maintain and improve financial models and dashboards; ensure data integrity across planning systems and reporting tools
  • Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes; implement best practices in analysis and planning
  • Work closely with FP&A team members to ensure cohesive financial management and foster learning/growth
