Requirements
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, preferably in startups or fast-moving teams. Strong expertise in Next.js, React, and Tailwind for frontend development is required, along with proficiency in Python for backend/API development. Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes (K8s), and Postgres for infrastructure and data management is necessary. Experience in optimizing web performance and improving frontend UX is essential, as well as a bias for action and a strong product sense.
Responsibilities
The Founding Product Engineer will work closely with the CTO, AI Engineer, and Head of Product to build and scale the core product. They will onboard, set up their development environment, and dive into the systems, shipping updates and features to improve performance. They will co-own the frontend architecture roadmap, execute plans to enhance frontend performance, and ensure dependencies are up to date. Daily/weekly product updates will be shipped with a focus on quality, and they will collaborate closely with the team to shape the product's future.
