Responsibilities

The Forward Deployed Engineer will travel to designated deployment sites to install, configure, and commission autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) according to project requirements. They will conduct extensive testing and optimization of ASV systems in real-world conditions to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshooting technical issues related to ASV hardware, software, and communication systems during deployment and operation will be a key duty. The engineer will provide training and technical support to end-users, including military personnel, and create comprehensive documentation such as deployment reports and troubleshooting guides. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, field operations, and project management, will be essential to address technical challenges and enhance products. They will also serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
