Requirements

  • 6 months experience within the immediate past year (12 months) in warehousing
  • 6 months forklift driving experience in the immediate past year (12 months)
  • Full range of motion in arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods with a sense of balance
  • Ability to work with corrective lenses if needed
  • Willingness to pass post-offer health assessment and drug screening
  • Cold storage experience preferred
  • Proficiency in reading and writing
  • Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate effectively across all management levels
  • Willing and able to perform physical requirements: move at fast pace, bend, squat, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds for 12-hour shifts
  • Provide own steel or composite toe boots (ANSI 75lbs+ PSI rating, slip-resistant sole, ankle-covering; composite toe preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and process products and materials through the warehouse using motor-powered forklifts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Use handheld scanner to track products as moved around the facility
  • Follow all Tyson policies and safety guidelines
  • Perform sub-duties as required: Receiver (receive product using PIT), Put Away (pull and rack product, palletize/split pallets), Replenisher (pull pallets to replenish pick faces), Picker (case/full pallet picking for orders), Loader (load trucks efficiently without damage/loss)
  • Operate stand-up Crown PIT forklifts and reach trucks (may train on cherry picker) for up to 12 hours in damp/cold environments (-5 to 30°F)
  • Stand or walk up to 100% of the time
