Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of Forklift driving experience
  • 365 days rehire waiting period, and must have worked under 3 times
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Operate in a safe manner, and in accordance with all company policies and procedures
  • Use a handheld computer to pick and scan product to outbound loads
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and assist in coordinating to accomplish all assigned tasks
  • Operate powered pallet jack, forklift and/or reach truck
  • Inspect daily, charge batteries, maintain battery water level, and change batteries as necessary
  • Deliver raw materials, packaging, and pallets to the appropriate production areas
  • Move inventory in an organized manner to store in a subzero freezer, cooler, and a dry goods area
  • Move finished goods and work-in-progress from production lines to the shipping area
  • Unload trucks
  • Cover and stretch-wrap pallets
  • Ensure assigned production lines are continuously supplied with clean raw materials and packaging
  • Record movement transactions in the SAP system
  • Ensure all raw materials and finished goods are labeled correctly
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment according to 5S principles, GMP’s, and USDA regulations
