Requirements

Able to read, comprehend, and follow simple instructions
High School Diploma preferred
1 year of related experience
Basic mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
Good communication skills
Team player, reliable, and high work ethic
Ability to be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
Ability to withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
Ability to prolong standing or in stationary position
Ability to complete repetitive movements
Ability to bend and/or twist
Ability to lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection)
Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility

Responsibilities

Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures
Operate forklift in a safe and effective manner and follow all safety and company policies
Ensure tile specifications meet quality standards
Provide accurate stack counts
Unload/load materials from production lines
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure safe and efficient operation
Notify the Line Supervisor of any safety or maintenance problems immediately
All other duties as assigned by supervisor
