Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in material inventory (Basic Qualification)
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Physical ability to exert 20-100 pounds of force occasionally, 25-40 pounds frequently, 10-20 pounds constantly
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members
  • Ability to function as a team member with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to recognize safety hazards and take action
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Acceptable attendance record

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
  • Operate forklifts per TEREX Utilities' policy to move and store material
  • Keep records of outgoing materials on requisitions or forms
  • Fill out inventory location and disposition forms
  • Assist in unpacking shipments received or packing shipments for delivery
  • Move machines in and out of the building safely to support production
  • Pull parts and deliver to bays timely per load sheet guidelines
  • Load and unload bodies safely
  • Access computer terminals for manufacturing codes, Bill of Materials, etc
  • Organize and perform steps in sequence to keep work flowing through shop
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair forklift equipment as needed
  • Perform other forklift and utility functions as needed
  • Maintain clean work area and participate in 5S standards
  • All other duties as assigned
