Requirements

High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 0-2 years of experience
Strong attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Physical ability to push/pull/bend/twist multiple times, up to 2 to 4 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Ability to stand/walk approximately 2 to 4 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Repetitive hand movement including gripping, grasping, and manipulation for approximately 2 to 4 hours intermittently during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck/cherry picker) and cross train in multiple areas
Ability to work in cold environment (35–46 degrees F) for approx. 2.5 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Wear required PPE including steel toe shoes, insulated/high visibility jacket, gloves, hand warming packs

Responsibilities

Receive and store product
Pick and pack product for shipment
Ship orders
Inspect materials for orders verifying accurate quantity, lot number, expiration dates, and product part number
Create and/or ensure appropriate documentation is completed for orders
Reconcile inventory and perform cycle counts and data entry functions as assigned
Operate powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, cherry picker, and/or reach trucks
Identify and solve routine problems in work area with management team
Assist management team on organizational improvement projects such as lean and quality initiatives
