Requirements

  • Must pass authorized training for Forklift operation
  • Must have 3 months Forklift experience
  • Bilateral full-hand grip required to up stack/down stack boxes of finished product onto pallets and lift wooden pallets (5-80 pounds); full hand grip of dominant hand to operate Forklift
  • Standing on non-slip platform of Forklift truck or on cement floor
  • Lifting wooden pallets and finished boxed product (5-80 pounds)
  • Occasional bending at the waist while retrieving pallets or up/down stacking product
  • Moderate force required; heavy lifting and simultaneous use of both hands
  • Ability to work in temperatures of approximately 28-32 degrees
  • Willing and able to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Place and/or retrieve finished boxed product from coolers, trailers, and production floor using battery-powered Forklift
  • Break down or stack up products (5-80 pounds) on wooden pallets (65-75 pounds) to form full pallets
  • Stack empty pallets 10 high in work areas
  • Remove boxes from pallets and place on other pallets to build full pallets (pallet height 8 inches to 7 feet tall)
