Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • One plus years of leadership experience
  • Seven plus years of experience in the construction industry
  • Experience working and living in remote field sites
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
  • Basic computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Lead, Manage and be Accountable (LMA) for their direct reports
  • Perform the roles and responsibilities for Foreman as listed on the Accountability Chart
  • Report project progress to superiors
  • Develop a work schedule for workers
  • Supervise all construction workers
  • Be the liaison between construction workers and supervisors
  • Solve disputes between workers
  • Ensure that a project is adequately staffed
  • Assign tasks to construction workers
  • Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget
  • Perform quality checks on construction equipment
  • Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
  • Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed
  • Supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site
  • Ensure safety rules are always followed
  • Develop work schedules based upon the availability of employees or contractors and weather conditions
