Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
Proven experience in a US multinational or audit/accounting firm, with a strong background in general accounting, treasury, or audit
Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French or other languages is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
Exceptional analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving approach
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Strong ability to perform under pressure
Continuous improvement mindset
Valid work permit in Switzerland

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing
Prepare comprehensive year-end reports and analyze trial balance fluctuations to provide actionable insights
Initiate and manage manual journal vouchers, maintaining strong relationships with GBS
Perform detailed account reconciliations, ensuring quality management and utilizing reconciliation tools effectively
Provide essential support to internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Ensure accurate and timely submission of the Swiss National Bank Statistics reporting
Oversee the close of the Quantum Treasury system and coordinate manual disbursement requests of non-automated payments
Manage bank relationships, including opening and closing of bank accounts, handling periodical KYC, managing all subsidiary bank account administration, and acting as liaison between bank relationship managers and Lilly
Prepare monthly cash forecasts and bi-monthly FX exposure forecasts to minimize company FX risks
Lead and participate in various ad hoc projects and initiatives to drive financial efficiency and innovation
