Requirements

H.S. diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of claims processing and/or customer service experience (or any combination of education and experience providing equivalent background)
AA/AS preferred

Responsibilities

Set up and adjust claims overpayments that have been previously identified
Review and validate paid claims for overpayments using system-based queries, specialized reporting, or other research
Determine and calculate amount of overpayments and process refunds
Research voluntary refunds for accuracy
Accurately balance all accounts
Handle more routine issues
Work with internal staff from other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Perform collection activities to ensure recovery of overpayments and maintenance of unprocessed cash and accounts receivable balances and all other cash applications
Handle cash receipts, cash application, claim audits, collections, overpayment vendor validation, and claim adjustments (may do all or some)
