Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Background in financial analysis, preferably with a public company
  • Proven results collaborating with team members and supported functions
  • Interpersonal skills to cultivate partnerships across functions, regions, and teams

Responsibilities

  • Supports the coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses, including traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and business planning support
  • Supports business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues
  • Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business
  • Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner
  • Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making
  • Learns and understands Visa’s financial reporting systems: run data queries, build financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
  • Builds near and long-term views for growth that align with business strategy and data
  • Presents results and provides insights and analysis to business partners and executives
