Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in Finance, Business Administration, Entrepreneurial or Real Estate Management preferred
  • Two (2) years of multi-family real estate or finance experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and detail orientation skills with ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong analytical skills and adept at working with analyzing data

Responsibilities

  • Analyze long term cash flow needs of the business to make informed decisions regarding financing and investing activities
  • Track and chart key interest rates used most commonly in indexes for financing
  • Prepare annual financial statements on current value basis for company portfolio
  • Maintain involvement in financial side of financing and asset management, including oversee revenue management, sales analysis, refinancing analysis and calculation of proceeds
  • Handle property and portfolio budgeting responsibilities
  • Benchmark portfolio performance
  • Calculate ROIs for future and existing repositioning efforts
  • Maintain and enhance the Finance platform
  • Track returns and identify trends in portfolio to mitigate risk and exploit revenues
  • Provide monthly reporting to ownership on financial and asset performance
  • Develop controls and assign responsibility for key P&L and Balance Sheet line items
  • Prepare financial statements for internal use and/or external lender requirements
  • Assist in the negotiation of lender agreements for both construction and permanent financing
  • Assist in the coordination of due diligence requirements with lenders and third-party consultants
  • Maintain communications with primary banks and serve as a liaison between banks and company, answering questions and distributing information when needed
