Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly journal entries under IFRS accounting standards and entry into the General Ledger system
  • Assisting with the month end close process, including preparing reports and communication among stakeholders for month end costs
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to distribute to other internal departments
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including analyzing balances and ensuring accounting treatment is in accordance with IFRS guidance
  • Cooperatively work with the accounting team and other teams within the organization
  • Utilize problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills to understand the business and accounting process at the company
  • Assist with ad hoc reports and projects, as requested
  • Performs other duties as they might be assigned
