Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. An advanced certification (e.g., MBA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is a significant plus
  • Advanced proficiency in standard financial modeling, reporting and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, PPT)
  • Working knowledge of analytical and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker) is a strong plus
  • Extensive, proven experience in P&L ownership, financial modeling, and leading the full Financial Planning & Management (FPM) cycle (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
  • Prior experience in Retail, Technology, or e-Commerce is a significant advantage
  • Strategic & detail-oriented mindset: blend a strategic, long-term view of the business with a sharp eye for detail
  • Highly motivated and able to connect finance and strategy, jumping between data analysis and working with senior leaders on big-picture projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete Financial Performance Management (FPM) cycle—including robust budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis—for functional areas, translating operational goals into clear, actionable financial roadmaps
  • Use analysis and data visualization to provide unbiased, actionable insights for strategic initiatives as well as operational and trading decisions, delivering timely analysis and recommendations on financial implications
  • Build relationships with senior functional leaders (e.g., Tech, Ops, Commercial), embed finance in daily operations to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Champion objective resource allocation, continually challenging for maximum ROI and accelerated profitability
  • Standardize financial management via standardizing reporting and focusing on key financial and operational KPIs; embrace automation and process improvement to prioritize high-value analysis and strategic business improvement
  • Collaborate with senior functional leaders and serve as a catalyst for converting complex financial and operational insights into concrete, measurable actions, driving superior performance and profitability across the FARFETCH Group
