Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass drug test and background check
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Operates production equipment, including filter vessels, environmental controls, pumps, crude gathering systems, and central tank batteries
  • Gauges tanks and checks pump action to maintain pipeline pressure within guidelines
  • Collects fluid/crude samples and conducts production and fluid tests
  • Provides maintenance and repairs to facilities and equipment
  • Practices awareness concerning issues of health, safety, and the environment
  • May include OQ-covered responsibilities similar to Pigging Technicians, Pipeline Operators, and Corrosion Technicians
  • Monitors and maintains all equipment associated with remote crude oil stations, valve sites, and pipelines
  • Performs daily operational duties associated with gathering and transportation of crude liquids, including equipment preventative maintenance, station loss control, testing and monitoring crude quality, and operating and repairing crude equipment from station inlet through station discharge
