Requirements

Ability to accurately record data
Ability to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system
Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo
Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients
Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients
Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools
Ability to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, cold environments with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather
Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
Ability to sign and abide by Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including agreement to avoid any avian species
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb ladders/stairs, and sustain physical activity throughout the day
HS diploma or equivalent preferred
1 year feed mill experience preferred
At least 6 months operator experience with various types of power industrial vehicles
Basic math skills
Communication skills
Basic mechanical skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to certify and maintain PIT certification
Ability to certify as a Weigh Master
Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability to be clean shaven)
Valid Class D License where applicable
180 days wait period from last termination date
3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)

Responsibilities

Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
Follow and operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
Complete all other tasks assigned by management
