Requirements

  • 1+ experience with Flux-cored arc welding (FCAW)
  • Experience with 3-5 Multi Pass welds on Heavy 1” Plate
  • Experience or knowledge of back gouging, carbon arcing or air arcing
  • Safety first mindset
  • Ability to work overtime to support production demands

Responsibilities

  • Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free operations
  • Hand weld all plain and alloy structural steel in all positions
  • Use of jib or gantry crane to manually position weld equipment
  • Grind and dress fabricated weldments
  • May operate forklift, scissor lift and area lift to access weldments
