  • 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on failure analysis or hardware validation
  • Strong hands-on experience with electrical debug tools (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters, etc.)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets
  • Familiarity with high-speed digital design, power electronics, or signal integrity (plus)
  • Experience with design for test (DFT) and design for reliability (DFR) practices (advantage)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to FA
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to document findings and communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with FA tools such as X-ray, thermal imaging, SEM, or boundary scan (standout)
  • Knowledge of reliability testing standards (e.g., HALT, HASS) (standout)
  • Python or other scripting experience for test automation or data analysis (standout)

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed Failure Analysis (FA) of electrical and mixed-signal components (e.g., MLB, PCBs, modules) that fail at the system level
  • Reproduce system-level EE failures and isolate failure signatures to specific components or design flaws
  • Conduct board-level electrical characterisation, diagnostics, and signal integrity reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Test, Validation, and Reliability) to trace root causes
  • Document findings with clear technical reports including root cause, corrective/preventive actions, and learnings
  • Identify gaps in EE module-level test coverage that lead to escapes at the system level
  • Propose and implement improved test methodologies or additional test cases to close those gaps

Serve Robotics

Autonomous delivery robots for food and retail

About Serve Robotics

Serve Robotics is changing the delivery industry with its self-driving robots that provide sustainable and efficient delivery solutions. Instead of using traditional vehicles, these lightweight, autonomous robots deliver small items like food and retail products, reducing carbon emissions and traffic congestion. The company operates on a delivery-as-a-service (DaaS) model, allowing businesses in the food and retail sectors to subscribe and pay based on their delivery needs. Serve Robotics aims to lead in the autonomous delivery market by offering eco-friendly solutions that enhance customer experience.
