Requirements

Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks and general upkeep of the Distribution Center
Capability to support Maintenance Technicians with mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance, including servicing/repair of hand tools and minor floor machines
Qualified to act as an Electrical Assistant for electrical safety processes
Skills to change PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) batteries, perform preventative/corrective maintenance on batteries, maintain battery equipment, and keep records
Ability to operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, sanders, grinders, pneumatic tools, welders)
Skilled in carpentry, welding, and fabrication for constructing/repairing assets (furniture, shelving, racks, workbenches)
Capability to complete plumbing tasks (install/repair faucets, sprinklers; clean drains/sumps)
Ability to perform painting, drywall repairs, concrete patching/replacement
Willingness to assist in preventive maintenance programs (pest control, HVAC) and update records
Ability to operate snow removal equipment and power equipment safely
Valid driver's license or ability to drive Target-owned vehicles for yard cleanup, vendor escort, parts pickup
Availability for B3 shift: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00pm to 6:00am

Responsibilities

Support Maintenance Technicians in mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance, such as servicing/repairing hand tools and minor floor machines
Act as Qualified Electrical Assistant for electrical safety processes
Support installation/removal of equipment throughout the facility
Evaluate and inspect facility interior/exterior for upkeep/repair needs
Change PIT batteries, perform maintenance on batteries, clean/paint battery equipment, maintain records, and submit at shift end
Complete maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of Label Tec Printers
Operate hand/power tools for various tasks
Construct/repair facility assets using carpentry, welding, fabrication
Perform plumbing tasks (faucet/sprinkler install/repair, drain/sump cleaning)
Complete painting, drywall repairs, concrete patching/replacement
Assist in preventive maintenance programs (pest control, HVAC) and record updates
Remove cardboard bales, trash using dumpsters, maintain neat grounds
Operate snow removal equipment for walks, roads, parking lots
Drive Target vehicles for yard cleanup, incident response, vendor escort, parts/material pickup
Operate all power equipment safely
