Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science or related field
15+ years of experience in apparel development (pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, materials, quality)
Expert in pattern making and translating patterns to written product specs and construction standards
Ability to act as a technical resource and mentor others; lead initiatives and project teams
Demonstrated skill in problem solving and results orientation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage a high workload and multiple projects
Proficiency with CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex)
Proficiency with 3D software (Clo)

Responsibilities

Leverage expert knowledge of pattern-making, fit, and product commercialization from start to finish for Jordan creation
Focus on Jordan creation for Nike within the Energy product area
Test, consumer or athlete validation and commercialization of Gender and Athlete focused Chassis
Utilize advanced technical knowledge related to product fit & sizing for apparel development projects
Partner with NXT Digital Innovation and Global Apparel Standards team to align against size & fit
Partner across the business to create and execute new innovative styles
Work cross-functionally to validate new Jordan standards, Chassis, create specifications, libraries and tools
Ensure project concepts align with Gender & Sport Dimensional initiatives
Create and validate physical styles and virtual versions using 3D tools (CLO)
Report to the Director of Technical Development for Jordan Brand and work with a talented team
Provide technical recommendations and support to the dimensional Technical Design and Product Development community
Adopt and adapt new tools and processes to implement across the business
