Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering with EE design experience 8 years or above
  • System-level thinking for design and problem-solving
  • Curiosity and the ability to explore new technologies
  • Capability to synthesize and propose solutions
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline

Responsibilities

  • Explore and evaluate hardware technical and engineering evaluation and assessment of new concepts
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, develop a technology roadmap for improving products
  • Understand the potential demand for new technologies in China
  • Work with Business Groups to gather requirements
  • Develop technology bricks for new products
  • Provide the right level of documentation, synthesizing and proposing capabilities
  • Collaborate with Chinese partners and suppliers to develop and commercialize new technologies
  • Apply system engineering skills and partner with a cross-functional team, especially Embedded Software (ESW), connectivity, and Mechanical Engineering (ME)
  • Engage with colleagues in a multi-site and multicultural environment (Switzerland, Taiwan)
