Candidates should possess proven experience as a Systems Administrator, specifically with Perforce version control systems, and a strong understanding of version control concepts, branching, merging, and release management. They should have experience with Perforce environment configuration, performance tuning, and issue resolution, along with proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash). Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of Perforce with other development tools.
The Experienced Perforce Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Perforce version control system, installing and maintaining the Perforce server environment and client applications, managing user accounts and permissions, monitoring and optimizing server performance, implementing Perforce server solutions aligned with disaster recovery plans, providing technical support and troubleshooting, ensuring source code repository integrity and security, developing and maintaining documentation, and working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure effective Perforce usage.
