Associate degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the role)
Two to four years+ professional experience in legal/professional services required
Prior knowledge of accounts payable/expense operations and software required (e.g., Chrome River, Concur, Aderant Expert, Elite, or comparable financial systems)
Strong knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel); strong keyboarding skills
Proficient writing and grammatical skills
Solid attention to detail; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Good organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner
Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
Able to exercise good judgment to make decisions that conform to business needs and policy
Good problem-solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate problems to supervisory level
Responsibilities
Create, process, and/or audit expense reimbursement requests by ensuring proper documentation and approvals are submitted/received
Complete data entry to appropriate expense processing software (e.g., adding accounts, vouchers, requests, general ledger numbers) and/or obtain correct documentation/approvals
Review requests for compliance with policies and/or procedures; escalate concerns to supervisor
Use established procedures, standards, and formats to complete expense processing requests to client satisfaction
Demonstrate proficiency in using equipment/technology/software and hardware necessary to perform job functions
Communicate with team members, lead, supervisor, or client on job or deadline concerns
Meet contracted deadlines for service delivery to clients
Troubleshoot basic software or hardware problems
Help foster a proactive environment of continuous service enhancement and relationship building with the client
Perform Quality Assurance on work of others, as requested
Accurately and timely process vendor invoices and expense reimbursements
Research and resolve inquiries and problems
Recommend process and procedural enhancements
Perform other responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as assigned
