This is an onsite position requiring the employee to be onsite five days a week at the General Motors Global Technical Center in Warren, MI or Arlington, TX.
Candidates need 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field (or degrees in project management or business with relevant manufacturing experience), strong problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, flexibility for changing hours, willingness to travel extensively, and demonstrated initiative and collaboration.
The position has the potential to require domestic travel of up to 50-75%, with extensive travel during program launches.
1–2 years of experience in the automotive industry and experience working within General Assembly Manufacturing Engineering environments are preferred.
