Requirements

  • Essential experience in marine construction, preferably more than 10 years
  • Based in Madrid, Spain (onsite)

Responsibilities

  • Support the marine works team with constructive methodologies for marine works
  • Participate in bids, prepare technical documentation, support ongoing works, and travel to sites as needed
  • Know company methodologies for marine works and stay updated on market technologies to propose improvements and innovations
  • Identify the most suitable structural type for each project (e.g., slope or vertical dikes; box piles, piles, or spread footings) and advise the design team on the best constructive solution
  • Prepare technical documentation for bids (constructive methodologies), collaborate on work programs and risk assessments, and support pre-qualification and expressions of interest phases
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Studies Department) for constructive input, business development (technical commercial material), and commercial meetings
  • Participate in meetings with clients and partners to explain constructive strategies, discuss solutions, and highlight advantages for the project and company
  • Provide support to ongoing marine works, resolving problems and proposing optimizations
  • Follow up on marine works in progress, retain knowledge, develop new procedures, and document lessons learned
  • Travel to sites for new awards or ongoing work support
