Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in EHS within industrial or automated manufacturing environments
  • Expertise in applicable standards such as OSHA 1910/1926, NFPA 70E, ISO 13849, ISO 10218, ANSI B11, and RIA R15.06
  • Hands-on experience with Safety Management Systems (e.g., CMMS, VelocityEHS) and hazard/risk assessments
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training programs and safety campaigns to cross-functional and diverse teams
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR requirements)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain OSHA/EPA-compliant programs, including welding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), cranes, and confined space entry
  • Design machine guarding systems, safety logic, and engineered hazard mitigations across multiple manufacturing processes
  • Lead hazardous materials management, including chemical inventory, waste compliance, SDS maintenance, and permitting
  • Manage safety-related capital projects, lead incident investigations, and implement corrective actions using data-driven insights
  • Serve as the primary liaison for OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory inspections and agency interactions
