Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years managing EHS programs for industrial, infrastructure, defense, or mission-critical environments
  • Expertise in ISO 45001 and ISO 26000 standards; experience implementing or auditing management systems
  • Strong understanding of global WHS/OHS legislation and multi-jurisdictional compliance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as LeoLabs’ EHS SME, overseeing all global safety and environmental systems
  • Ensure compliance with WHS/OHS laws and environmental regulations across all radar sites
  • Develop and execute EHS strategies aligned with ISO 45001 (safety) and ISO 26000 (environmental responsibility)
  • Lead training, awareness, and continuous improvement programs for staff, contractors, and visitors
  • Conduct and analyze EHS performance trends to assess impact before and after program changes
  • Oversee hazard identification, risk assessments, and maintenance of global risk registers
  • Coordinate RF exposure surveys and implement appropriate mitigations (signage, barriers, exclusion zones)
  • Manage environmental programs for hazardous materials, waste management, and sustainable practices
  • Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations with root cause and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Construction teams to embed safety into all project phases
  • Support safety and environmental input for bids, contracts, and new site selection
  • Provide data-driven EHS metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting
