Current working knowledge of applicable rules and regulations for the oil & gas industry at local, state, and federal levels — particularly state and federal air permitting requirements, New Source Performance Standards, and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants
Experience with process simulators (e.g., ProMax) and tools like GlyCalc
Responsibilities
Quantify process emissions using process simulator (ProMax), quantify dehydration unit emissions using GlyCalc
Develop emission calculation tools and provide Staff training on emission calculation techniques
Provide QA/QC review for Staff emission calculations
Provide on-call analysis of emissions and compliance status related to equipment/process malfunctions and provide technical assistance with development of necessary corrective actions
Develop/provide technical justification of emission calculations as needed to respond to regulatory agency inquiries
Represent the Company during permit limitation negotiations
Own all aspects of air quality compliance for applicable regional operations area and attend meetings in OKC as necessary
Assist in bringing various air permitting activities in-house
Collaborate with Facility Engineering/Operations during the design and installation phase of facilities to ensure equipment and operating conditions will satisfy air compliance regulations
Manage the preparation of air permit applications and serve as primary point of contact for related correspondence with regulatory agencies
Implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance to permit terms and conditions
Assist in implementation of company LDAR program requirements
Support efforts to respond to and meet with state and federal agencies about alleged air quality violations and other issues
Compile and submit annual emissions inventories, greenhouse gas reports, and NSPS OOOOa annual reports, and various air-related notifications and reports
Coordinate and oversee emissions performance testing projects
Oversee collection and perform QA/QC review of emission control device monitoring data
Develop and deliver air compliance training to company personnel
